One of the most elegant luxury high-rises in the city of Chicago, across the street from Millennium Park, 340 East Randolph also known as “340 on the Park” has been a favorite of many of my clients. This 25-story building has amenities that surpass most expectations: spa, fitness, 25-yard indoor lap pool, sauna, steam room, and an entertainment room which oversees Grant Park, Millennium Park and Monroe Harbor. The views will take your breath away. Both the northern and southern exposure will appease your buyers. Southern exposure will give you views of Millennium Park, Monroe Harbor & Grant Park. Northern exposure will give you views of the beautiful Lake Shore East Park and nearby buildings. My personal clients have enjoyed this building and have no regrets. In fact, taking new clients that have interest in the nearby area has given them an option they wouldn’t have considered. If you are on a low floor or high, southern or northern exposure, this building sells itself.
Townhomes are being built in the Lake Shore East inner park area. As Aqua is close to selling out, the community continues to expand and the owners/renters are happy to reside in the area. Cafe Rome has opened, Treasure Island is on its way and other restaurant opportunities are being considered.
Lake Shore East is truly unique and I’ve found there is not another development of its kind. Though many area residents were sad to see the 9-hole golf course and driving range disappear that once was what Lake Shore East is now, I don’t think they would’ve ever imagined the development to be such a success. Magellan Development (www.MagellanDevelopment.com), Lake Shore East’s developers, continues to build even when the market for developers has slowed down. They continue to sell-out all of their developments and have plans for more. Stay tuned for “The C” building, another one of Magellan’s Developments to come.
If you haven’t seen luxury living in Chicago with a community-like, high-rise feel and a few townhomes in the mix, you must see Lake Shore East.
